In a study on workplace learning just released by LinkedIn, leadership was identified as the most important skill for employees to learn. This was closely followed by communication and collaboration. The report identifies that “the pace of change is fuelling demand for adaptable, critical thinkers, communicators and leaders”.
ACWA’s Community Leadership Program (CLP) is designed to build these skills in yourself and the emerging leaders of your organisation. During this eight-month program, participants will learn how to be an adaptive leader, apply the principles of neuroscience to increase the leadership skills of yourself and your team, and receive individualised coaching to assist you to embed these skills into your work.
You can hear more about this well respected program from our CLP Manager Lesley Furneaux-Cook and graduates in this short video. If that doesn’t move you, perhaps the following comments from participants involved in our 2017 program just might:
“It went beyond my expectations.”
“Very inspiring, motivating and confidence boosting.”
“ Great group of people, genuinely enhanced my 2017.”
Now into its 10th successful year, representatives from the Red Cross, Barnardos, CatholicCare, AbSec, Life Without Barriers, Department of Health, Anglicare and FACS are already on board for this transformative journey.
Early bird discounts – which provide a saving of $300 per registration – finish on March 26, so get in quick.
