Who We Are
The Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies (ACWA) is the NSW peak body representing non-government community organisations that deliver essential services to children, young people, and their families.
Since 1958, we’ve collaborated with government bodies, partners, and other agencies to drive positive systemic reform that enhances the lives of children, especially those in out-of-home care.

Build Skills. Create Impact.
ACWA’s Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT) offers flexible and affordable training solutions tailored for professionals in the Human Services sector.
With a focus on evidence based, trauma informed, best practices CCWT equips individuals with the skills needed to better support vulnerable children & families.
