ACWA is calling on our member agencies to help spread the word within your carer communities about the My Forever Family NSW program, to ensure that all foster and kinship carers, guardians and adoptive parents in NSW have access to statewide training and support services.
My Forever Family (MFF) NSW provides ongoing support, advice and training for foster carers, guardians and adoptive parents.
ACWA is asking agencies to let their their carers know about these services, and encourage them to join the My Forever Family community by signing up via its membership page.
The MFF team is currently travelling throughout Western NSW to highlight the support and training that is available to carers through the program.
Upcoming stops on the MFF Western Roadshow are:
- 22 May: Walgett
- 29 May: Broken Hill
- 12 June: Wagga Wagga
- 19 June: Bourke
- 26 June: Griffith
MFF is also planning on running roadshows in other districts across NSW from July to December 2019.
