Addressing ChildStory and Introducing ACWA's New Strategic Directions
On Tuesday 13th August, ACWA members will have the opportunity to speak with Families, Communities and Disability Services Minister, Gareth Ward, about the ChildStory IT system, and to hear from ACWA CEO Steve Kinmond about our new strategic directions.

Session 1: Discussing PSP and ChildStory With Minister Ward
10am – 12pm
ACWA invites you to meet with Minister Ward, and senior representatives of the Department of Communities and Justice, to discuss action that is being taken to address both ChildStory IT system problems and the strategies to deal with the related adverse business outcomes. The Minister requested ACWA to set up this meeting in direct response to member concerns about ChildStory, that were raised during ACWA's Meet the Minister Forum in May.

Session 2: ACWA's Strategic Directions

Ahead of ACWA's October AGM, Steve Kinmond will use this session to outline key elements of ACWA's new strategic directions for the next 12 months, as well as a number of proposed amendments to our constitution, that will be voted on at the AGM.
