Centre for Community Welfare Training
The Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT) provides cost effective and accessible training opportunities for people working across the community welfare sector in NSW, in particular those working with vulnerable children, young people and families. CCWT is the training arm of the Association of Children's Welfare Agencies (ACWA), a Registered Training Organisation.
CCWT provides both short courses and in-house training as well as specialised programs, coaching and supervision.
ACWA and member agency representatives, the Children In Care Collective, and the Australian Services Union (ASU) have worked together – with the assistance of the Fair Work Commission – to develop a resource on best practice workplace consultation for use by the child and family services sector in NSW.
