CCWT Terms & Conditions
Pricing
All prices on this site are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices include GST where marked. A tax invoice will be issued on successful enrolment or purchase.
Your Contact Information
We must have a correct email address and phone number for you in order to provide confirmation. This is our main method of contacting you. Please ensure that the email address you provide us with is one that you check regularly. If you provide your own email address when registering a colleague, you will be responsible for passing on any information to your colleague, including any course cancellations.
Paying for Your Registration
Payment is required at the time of registration by credit card. If your organisation holds a Corporate Pass with CCWT an invoice can be requested at the time of registration. In this case, payment will be required within 28 days.
Acknowledgement of Registrations
In the case of online registrations, an automatic email is generated notifying you that your registration has been received. If you registered online and have not receive a notification email, please contact CCWT by phone to verify that we have received your registration.
For some courses you cannot register directly online, as CCWT needs to assess and manually process your registration. In these cases, you will click on a button that says Apply (rather than Enrol). You will receive an acknowledgement email when your registration has been processed.
Please note that an acknowledgment is not the same as a confirmation (see below).
Confirmation of Registrations
Confirmation that the course will be proceed will be sent by email two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. If you do not receive an email at this time, please email ccwt@ccwt.edu.au to confirm your registration. Participants who register less than 14 days before the commencement of the course will need to phone CCWT for confirmation if you do not receive a confirmation email.
If a Course is Rescheduled or Moved
Course dates and venues must sometimes be changed for unforeseen reasons. We will notify you as soon as possible if a course is rescheduled or moved to a new venue. If these new arrangements do not suit you, you are eligible for a credit or refund.
If a Course is Cancelled
We make every attempt to ensure that courses run. However, CCWT reserves the right to alter any arrangements, including cancellation of courses if required. Ordinarily, if necessary, courses will be cancelled 14 days prior to the course date. There may be circumstances in which CCWT needs to cancel courses with less notice (for example, ill-health of the presenter). In either case, all students will be advised of the cancellation by phone or email. You will be given a credit for your registration fee, or can apply for a refund within 7 days.
If You are Travelling to a Course from a Distance
Do not book accommodation or travel until your course is confirmed 14 days before the course date. As outlined above, very occasionally, a course is cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice due to factors completely beyond our control e.g. trainer illness. We will make every reasonable effort to advise you of a cancellation or change as soon as possible.
If a course is cancelled with less than 14 days’ notice, and you have paid for your travel or accommodation you must contact the Director of CCWT on or before the day of training to discuss reimbursement.
Substitutions
Substitutions can be arranged by emailing ccwt@ccwt.edu.au. You will need to supply the name and email of the substitute person, as well as the details of the person being substituted. We cannot take substitutions over the phone.
Transferring to Another Course
Please choose your course carefully. Once registrations are processed, transfers will be made at the discretion of CCWT and only if you have paid for the registration and:
- a course is cancelled, or the course date is changed by CCWT
- a written request from you is received by CCWT 15 or more days prior to the course
- a medical certificate is provided in the event of illness or misadventure
Requests for transfers must be made to the Registrations Officer via email: ccwt@ccwt.edu.au. We cannot take transfers over the phone.
Only one transfer per person per course is available, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
Withdrawing from a Course
If you withdraw from a course less than 15 days before the starting date and a medical certificate is provided, a credit will be provided for the course fee.
Without a medical certificate, credit towards another course will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the full discretion of CCWT.
You can make a request for consideration in writing to the Registrations Officer via email: ccwt@ccwt.edu.au. We cannot take withdrawals over the phone.
Non-attendance at a Course
Full or partial non-attendance of registered participants who have not arranged with CCWT for substitution, transfer or withdrawal prior to the start of the course will incur the full registration fee.
Registration Payment Credits
If a registered participant withdraws from a course in accordance with the above procedures and payment has been made, the payment becomes a credit. Credits are valid for twelve months from the date of the course from which the participant withdrew. During that period credits can be put toward the cost of other registrations by the same payer (service or individual). Please be aware that fees for courses are subject to annual change. If you register for a course in the following calendar year that has an increased fee, you will need to pay the difference.
