Child Wellbeing and Child Protection Interagency Guidelines Review

ACWA, in consultation with our member agencies, has submitted a response to proposed changes to the NSW Child Wellbeing and Child Protection Interagency Guidelines

FACS is currently undertaking a review of these Guidelines, which provide information and guidance to all agencies involved in the delivery of child wellbeing and child protection services in NSW.

ACWA hosted a workshop in May in order to gather detailed feedback from our member agencies on the proposed changes. This consultation focused on the following draft documents:

  • Draft – Roles and Responsibilities
  • Draft – Guide to making a child protection report
  • Draft – Responding to a child protection report or child wellbeing concern

ACWA thanks our members for contributing to this review. Additionally, we thank FACS for the opportunity for input into these documents.
