Following the Office of the Children’s Guardian’s announcement regarding the cancellation of Narang Bir-rong Aboriginal Corporation’s out-of-home care accreditation, ACWA has issued a statement outlining our position.
ACWA supports Minister Kate Washington’s focus on accountability and recognises the critical role accreditation and regulatory frameworks play in ensuring children and young people receive safe, high-quality care. The safety, wellbeing and rights of children and young people must always remain the highest priority.
